Wild Cache app for iPhone and iPad

The Wild Cache app was forged through a desire to meld technology and wilderness. Designed to promote and improve access to the outdoors through a universal medium, we hope to help you better enjoy Mother Nature’s bounty.
Wild Cache is a GPS based information service app intended to aid adventurers and outdoor enthusiast in researching and planning wild pursuits, primarily in the Canadian Rockies (at least for now). By delivering curated hike and points of interest information and key related geospatial data straight to your smart phone, Wild Cache helps you better plan you adventures in Canadian wild spaces, such as Banff, Jasper, Yoho and Kootaney National Parks and the hosting of adjoining Provincial Parks (e.g. Kananaskis Country).
Wild Cache’s interface is deliberately intuitive to allow you to effectively filter through a vast array of potential adventure options (including various hikes and points of interest) in no time at all. For the available adventures (which we endeavour to expand each week), Wild Cache includes key information, such as the distance, total elevation gain (ascent), estimated hiking time, and difficulty for hikes and scrambles. Once you have found an adventure worthwhile, Wild Cache will provide you with directions right to the trailhead or other casting off point for your journey into the wild.
The goal of Wild Cache is to be an adventure app made by explorers for explorers, so we would love to hear from you about how we are doing.
